Key Responsibilities:

Managing the overall day-to-day operations of the café to ensure smooth and efficient business performance.
Monitoring sales performance, preparing operational reports, and implementing strategies to improve profitability and customer satisfaction.
Managing staff recruitment, training, supervision, and rostering to maintain a productive and customer-focused team environment.
Ensuring high standards of customer service are consistently delivered and handling customer feedback or complaints professionally.
Maintaining stock control, ordering supplies, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring adequate inventory levels are maintained at all times.
Overseeing merchandising and presentation of products to maximize customer engagement and sales opportunities.
Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
Monitoring financial transactions, cash handling procedures, and daily reconciliation processes.
Planning and implementing promotional activities, marketing initiatives, and seasonal offerings to support business growth.
Coordinating with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer experiences.
Analysing market trends and customer preferences to identify opportunities for improvement and expansion.
Maintaining operational records and ensuring all administrative duties are completed accurately and efficiently.

Requirements:

Relevant qualification in business, retail, hospitality management, or related field.
At least one year of relevant retail or hospitality management experience.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
Excellent customer service and team management abilities.
Sound knowledge of stock control, budgeting, and workplace compliance requirements.
Experience in café or hospitality operations will be highly regarded.
