The Retail Manager will be responsible for:
- Organising and controlling the day-to-day operations of the retail establishment
- Determining product mix, stock levels, and service standards
- Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, including setting prices
- Promoting and advertising the store’s goods and services
- Selling goods and services and advising customers on product use
- Maintaining accurate records of stock levels and financial transactions
- Preparing budgets and monitoring financial performance
- Recruiting, training, supervising, and managing staff
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and company policies

United Petroleum Broome is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail fuel and convenience store at Cable Beach. This is a full-time position suited to a candidate with strong leadership, retail management, and operational skills.
Skills and Qualifications
- AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2), or equivalent
- OR at least ONE (1) year of relevant retail management experience in place of formal qualifications
- Strong leadership and staff management skills
- Excellent organisational, communication, and customer service abilities
- Experience in stock control, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
