Our client Carrich Pty Ltd looking for a passionate Retail store manager for their successful and popular branded  Petrol station at Castlereagh.

You will be responsible to manage Ampol branded  fuel stations at Castlereagh.

This is your opportunity to join popular  service station brand as a Retail store manager.

As the Retail  Store Manager you will oversee the daily operations of the fuel stations and convenience store, ensuring smooth, efficient, and profitable operations. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining high service standards, team motivation, and compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

you’ll need to be passionate, especially about reaching targets, increasing sales, and making sure your team gives exceptional service to every customer.

Task & Responsibilities:

You will responsible for day to day management of  our busy store including,

  • Oversee daily operations of the store
  • Manage inventory and stock levels
  • Lead up to 5 to 10 people 
  • Work closely with supplier to negotiate commercial terms , promotions , and partnerships
  • Analyse data and market trends to optimise product assortment , pricing and promotions.
  • Oversee cash handling, banking, and financial reporting
  • Implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales
  • Rostering, payroll management, and performance management
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Motivate your team to achieve sales and meet targets and KPIs
  • promoting and advertising the store in local area
  • Train and supervise staff
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues
  • ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

Qualification & Experience

Previous retail management experience(at least one year) in  branded service station 

  • Diploma or higher qualification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of fuel  industry regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule
  • A head for figures, experience managing budgets and targets, and other financial aspects
  • A high level of food safety awareness
  • Exceptional interpersonal and people management skills
