Happy's Cut N Shape Pty Ltd is seeking passionate and skilled full time Hairdressers to join its team at our branch in Gilles Plains. We have been providing hairdressing services to Adelaide clients for 10 years now and we recently opened doors to our third branch in the region.

Task & responsibilities

Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to customer`s face shapes, tastes, hair type and trends for both men and women.
Welcome customers and identify their preferences.
Using clippers and scissors for cutting hair.
Trimming and shaving moustaches and beards.
Knowledge of appropriate equipment and chemical products for shampooing, drying, curling, rolling, ironing hair and desired outcomes.
Apply hair treatments products as needed to improve the health and appearance of the hair (colour protection creams and hydrating masks).
Apply a wide range of hair colouring techniques like highlights, ombre and balayage.
Clean and sterilize all hair dressing tools and instruments to meet safety health standards.
Take bookings and serve walk-ins.
Build repo and bonds with customers by guiding them with proper hair care routines and maintenance tips.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene practices of the salon to maintain a clean and safe environment as needed.
Work with team to meet targets.

Qualification & experience

Certificate III and at least 1 year of full-time or equivalent part-time work experience as a Hairdresser
at least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute the requirement of formal qualifications listed
