At Old Mate Electrical Group, we're a growing Western Sydney electrical business specialising in residential service, maintenance, fault finding, renovations, EV chargers, solar and battery systems.

Every day is different. One day you'll be fault finding at a customer's home, the next you'll be upgrading a switchboard, installing an EV charger, carrying out maintenance work or assisting with a solar battery installation.

About the role

You'll be responsible for attending residential service calls, fault finding, repairs, maintenance and installations throughout Western Sydney and surrounding areas. You'll be trusted to work independently, communicate with customers and deliver a high standard of workmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Fault finding and troubleshooting electrical issues

• Residential maintenance and repairs

• Switchboard upgrades

• Lighting and power installations

• Appliance installations and replacements

• EV charger installations

• Assisting with solar and battery installations when required

• Completing detailed job reports using ServiceM8

• Communicating professionally with customers

• Recommending solutions and upgrades that genuinely benefit customers

• Maintaining a clean, organised vehicle and work environment

What we're looking for

• Current NSW Electrical Licence

• Current Driver Licence

• Residential service and maintenance experience preferred

• Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and customer service skills

• Reliable, self-motivated and organised

• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively

• Pride in your workmanship and appearance
