Working on an attractive 8:6 FIFO roster with day shift only, you'll play a key role in leading Drill & Blast activities, supporting production targets, and building high-performing site teams.

The Role
 
Reporting to management, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of Drill & Blast activities while ensuring production objectives are achieved.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising daily Drill & Blast operations
• Leading and mentoring site-based crews
• Driving a strong safety culture across the workforce
• Coordinating production activities to meet operational targets
• Managing contractor performance and site stakeholders
• Conducting toolbox meetings and pre-starts
• Supporting incident investigations and risk management activities
• Monitoring explosives compliance and operational performance
• Managing workforce planning and shift execution
• Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures and WA mining legislation

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience in a Drill & Blast Supervisory position within open pit mining
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead high-performing teams
• Demonstrated experience managing production outcomes in a mining environment
• Current C Class Driver's Licence
• Strong understanding of Western Australian mining safety legislation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Sound computer skills and experience with reporting systems
• A proactive approach to safety, leadership, and operational excellence

Highly Regarded

• WA Shotfirer's Licence
• Section 26 Statutory Supervisor qualification
• Certificate IV in Surface Extraction Operations, Mining Management, Leadership or similar
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Experience across gold, iron ore, lithium, or base metals operations
