Earth Moving Plant Operator

About the Role

BML Ventures is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Earth Moving Plant Operator who will contribute to the successful operations of open pit gold mines around the Goldfields, ensuring efficient and safe transportation of mined materials.

This full time position is DIDO only, no FIFO available.

Duties and Responsibilities 

 As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in meeting our production requirements. 

• Operate heavy-duty dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport mined materials from the pit to the processing plant or waste stockpiles
• Perform pre-start checks and daily maintenance on assigned vehicles to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards
• Communicate effectively with the site supervisor, equipment operators and other team members to coordinate activities and address any issues that may arise
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge

 Skills and Experience

 WA C Class Drivers Licence

Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in an open pit, preferably in gold 

Operating tickets

Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screen & Pre-Employment Medical
