We’re seeking a skilled and creative Marketing & Content Specialist to join the FortGroup team working across our three growing brands SheShed, Trekk Sheds and Aura Retret Cabins.
About The Role
We’re looking for a highly capable Communications & Marketing Specialist to join the Fort Group marketing team, working across our brands SheShed, TrekkSpaces and Aura.
This is a hands-on role focused on bringing campaigns and product launches to life. You will work across content, product development coordination, and go-to-market execution. The role plays a critical part in ensuring everything we put into market is clear, compelling, on brand and commercially aligned.
You’ll suit this role if you enjoy variety, ownership and execution, and are looking for a structured role where you can contribute at a high level without managing a team.
This role is all about visual and written content creation. It is ideal for someone who lives and breathes content and loves getting behind (and in front of) the camera, directing the shots, writing social media captions, EDMs and blog copy as well as website content. The ideal candidate knows all the new and most fun trends. You will have strong content creation skills (video/photography and written), are skilled in capturing and editing videos on a smartphone and are confident with editing tools like CapCut and Canva.
Key Responsibilities
In this hands-on role you’ll create, edit and publish content across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. The content you'll be creating includes reels, cabin walk through videos, before-and-after's, behind-the-scenes, customer testimonials and more!
Every day brings something new; this role is fun and varied and on any given day you'll be doing things like:
Capture and edit video content for social media and campaigns
Film cabin walk-throughs, customer testimonials, and behind-the-scenes footage
Create TikToks, Reels, Instagram stories and other short-form video content
Write compelling copy for social media posts, blog articles, and EDMs
Collaborate on campaign planning and creative brainstorming sessions
About you
This is a hands-on role and will suit someone who wants to own their role and do work that really makes an impact in the business. You are someone who lives and breathes content. You're happy to be behind and in front of the camera, are confident directing the shots and capable of building a connection with our community. You're the sort of person who thinks of content ideas while you're waiting in line for coffee, you can film reels and TikTok's that feel authentic and fun and can write copy that keeps people reading. Ultimately, you:
Have deep knowledge of video content that works on social media
Are comfortable both behind the camera and on-screen
Are a clear communicator and strong collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced environment
You have an eagerness to try new things
Are a team player with initiative
Are experienced in visual and written content creation
Key Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a digital marketing or social media coordinator role
Strong smartphone based videography and photography skills
Strong copy writing skills – writes with clarity and punch
Proficiency in design tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or similar
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple brands

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Campaign Execution
Execute marketing campaigns across social, email, website and content channels
Coordinate timelines, assets and rollout across teams
Ensure all campaigns are delivered on time and aligned to marketing priorities
Outcome: Campaigns delivered on time, on brand, and supporting key growth metrics
Product Development and Launch
Coordinate product development projects with design and operations teams
Manage go-to-market execution including product pages, pricing and technical content
Own launch communications across social, email and website
Ensure launches align to positioning and agreed timelines
Content and Communications
Plan, create and publish content across social, email and website
Produce high-quality assets including reels, videos, product features and customer stories
Maintain brand tone and messaging across all channels
Manage and engage with social communities
Website and Content Support
Upload and maintain website content including product pages and blogs
Ensure all content is accurate, current and aligned to campaigns
Support continuous improvement of product presentation
Influencer and Content partnerships
Coordinate influencer and creator collaborations
Ensure deliverables are on brand and aligned to campaign goals
Outcome: High-quality partner content supporting reach and engagement
Customer Content and Storytelling
Engage with customers to capture real builds, stories and testimonials
Turn customer experiences into compelling marketing content
Outcome: Ongoing pipeline of authentic, high-performing content
About you
Experience in marketing, content or brand roles
Strong content creation skills across photo, video and storytelling
Experience executing campaigns across digital channels
Strong copywriting and communication skills
High attention to detail
Comfortable managing multiple priorities
Experience with website content management systems
