We are looking for a part-time Communications Analyst to join our team. This role is part of the Communications job function. They are responsible for developing internal and external communications that are related to organizational values, strategy, and performance. This role will consult with internal partners to create written and visual communication.

The Opportunity:

  • Draft and edit internal communications including presentations, email memos, etc. Provide manager support for media interview prep.
  • Create press releases for distribution to the media.
  • Cultivate content for social media channels, track, and report on outcomes and engagement.
  • Track media databases and coverage.
  • Assist with background research and content development for speeches and presentations.
  • Receive confidential information and develop messaging.
  • Assist management with administrative needs.
  • Collaborate with management and communication teams to understand project outcomes and needs. Help with projects as requested.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices within the communications space.
  • Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
  • Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions and check for understanding.
  • This is a part-time casual role 3 days a week.

Our ideal person is someone who:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
  • Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Confident working independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
