Our 3-2-1 Hybrid Working Model

  • 3 days from anywhere in Australia or Aotearoa New Zealand per week,  
  • 2 days from an RACP office location per week,  
  • 1 of the two days per week in office spent with your team.

The Role

The Marketing & Communication Business Partner is a member of the Marketing and Communications team,partnering with internal and external stakeholders in Education, Learning & Assessment to provide high level Marketing and Communications advice specifically related to the multi-year rollout of the RACPs Education Renewal Program. A particular focus on marketing Education changes to Fellows, trainees and other stakeholders is a key requirement of this position.

The role is responsible for:

  • Building effective working relationships with key stakeholders within the College and externally.
  • Delivering consistent strategic advice and insight to ensure marketing and communications activities are impactful.
  • Work closely with the Education Directorate to plan, lead and support communication activities and projects in line with the rollout of Education Renewal.
  • Provide high quality and timely Marketing and Communications advice and support as required.
  • Identify and respond to other marketing or communication needs of the College if required.
  • Adjust materials, content and delivery channels to meet the Education Directorates needs and best-practice.
  • Provide clear briefs and work closely with external agencies and suppliers as required.
  • Contribute to the smooth-running of a high functioning and successful team

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Marketing & Communications, in addition to the following skills and attributes:

  • 5+ years of experience working within similar scope and responsibilities
  • Proven experience developing and implementing marketing and change strategies, preferably in an education or healthcare context
  • Strong written communication skills including the development of articles, communication collateral, marketing material, briefing notes and newsletters for diverse audience groups.
  • Strong verbal communication skills including leading discussions and presentations.
  • Strong research skills as required to develop marketing collateral.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines through to completion.
  • Proven ability to brief and manage external design agencies and suppliers.
  • Proven ability to develop effective working relationships with diverse project teams
  • Proven ability to negotiate and manage competing demands and expectations of multiple stakeholders.
