Task & responsibilities

• Develop and implement venue-specific marketing strategies and annual strategic calendars to define commercial objectives, seasonal offers, and key performance indicators that drive revenue growth.
• Conduct market research to analyse competitor activities, local hospitality trends, and customer preferences to identify actionable growth opportunities and new promotional concepts.
• Plan, develop, and coordinate targeted advertising campaigns across digital and traditional channels, including signature monthly promotions such as BYO Wine Wednesdays, All You Can Eat Pork Ribs, and seasonal events.
• Create, schedule, and manage high-quality social media content across Instagram and Facebook, overseeing on-site food photography, promotional videos, and digital asset publishing to boost brand awareness.
• Advise management on pricing strategies, product positioning, and promotional mixes specifically designed to increase customer acquisition, optimise low-demand days, and maximise restaurant profitability.
• Manage the restaurant’s online presence and digital profiles, including the website and Google Business Profile, by updating local commercial information and actively responding to customer reviews.
• Plan and execute promotional campaigns for special occasions, public holidays, and limited-time menus, mapping out clear sales objectives and publication schedules.
• Own the customer database and lead email outreach (EDM) to communicate seasonal menu updates, special offers, and targeted loyalty initiatives that increase repeat customer visits.
• Liaise with the franchise’s national head office marketing team to coordinate local campaign schedules and ensure absolute alignment with national brand guidelines and approved creative assets.
• Interpret and present market data, campaign metrics, and sales outcomes to management, comparing real results against targets to deliver strategic insights for continuous business optimisation.
• Collaborate with the operational team to align inventory requirements with marketing-driven demand forecasts, ensuring proper stock availability for upcoming promotional events and campaigns.

Qualification & experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the hospitality, food services or retail sector.
• Demonstrated experience in social media management and content creation across platforms including Instagram, Facebook and Google Business.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, consumer trends and campaign performance metrics.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, email marketing software, CRM systems).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g. Canva) is desirable.
