Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the company's software products and services.
• Create and manage digital marketing content across websites, social media platforms, email campaigns, and other channels.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends and business opportunities.
• Assist in the development of marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
• Coordinate promotional activities, events, webinars, and industry exhibitions.
• Prepare marketing materials, presentations, case studies, and client communications.
• Monitor and analyse campaign performance and prepare reports on marketing outcomes.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and technical teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective market positioning.
• Manage relationships with external marketing agencies, designers, and media providers as required.
• Support business development initiatives through targeted marketing activities and customer engagement programs.

Task & responsibilities

• Planning, developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the company's laboratory information management software (QLIMS) and related services.
• Advising management on marketing opportunities, brand positioning, customer engagement strategies, and market expansion initiatives.
• Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and opportunities within scientific, healthcare, manufacturing, and research sectors.
• Coordinating the development of marketing materials, case studies, presentations, website content, and promotional campaigns.
• Creating, scheduling, and managing content across digital channels including the company website, social media platforms, email marketing, and online advertising.
• Monitoring and analysing the performance of marketing campaigns, website traffic, lead generation activities, and digital engagement metrics.
• Preparing regular marketing reports and recommendations based on campaign outcomes and market insights.
• Supporting business development activities through targeted marketing initiatives, lead nurturing, and customer communication programs.
• Assisting with the promotion and coordination of industry events, conferences, webinars, and product demonstrations.
• Managing search engine optimisation (SEO) and digital marketing activities to improve online visibility and brand awareness.
• Collaborating with technical, sales, and product teams to ensure marketing initiatives accurately reflect product capabilities and customer requirements.
• Maintaining and enhancing the company's brand presence across Australian and international markets.

Qualification & experience

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Digital Marketing, or a related field.

At least one year of relevant experience in marketing, digital marketing, business development, or a similar role.

Experience developing and implementing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.

Strong understanding of social media marketing, content creation, SEO, email marketing, and online advertising platforms.

Experience analysing marketing performance data and preparing reports to support business decision-making.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Experience within the software, technology, SaaS, or B2B sectors will be highly regarded.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, LinkedIn, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms.
