Supply and Distribution Manager

The Supply and Distribution Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s supply chain, inventory control, warehousing, procurement coordination and distribution operations to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products across domestic and international markets.

This role plans, coordinates and manages supply and distribution operations across warehouse and distribution locations, monitors inventory levels, implements effective stock control systems, coordinates freight and transport arrangements, liaises with suppliers and logistics partners, and supports continuous improvement across inventory, warehousing, fulfilment and customer delivery performance.

The role is also responsible for supporting the development of practical, scalable warehouse and distribution processes that align with Clearlight’s premium brand standards, customer expectations, WHS requirements and broader operational goals.

Benefits

Remuneration on offer is from $85k to $90K depending on experience

Task & responsibilities

Responsibilities - overview:

• Plan, coordinate and manage supply and distribution operations across warehouse and distribution locations
• Coordinate supply activities to maintain uninterrupted product availability.
• Oversee day-to-day movement of goods across warehouse, fulfilment and distribution channels
• Ensure products, spare parts and related goods are available to support customer orders, installations, warranty requirements and operational needs
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure supply and distribution activities align with sales demand, customer requirements and operational capacity
• Support distribution planning across domestic and international markets
• Maintain visibility of inbound, stored and outbound stock

Qualification & experience

• Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field, or a minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience in supply chain, logistics, warehousing or distribution management.
• Strong understanding of inventory systems, freight coordination and warehouse operations.
• Experience planning, coordinating and managing supply and distribution operations.
• Experience monitoring inventory levels and implementing effective stock control systems.
• Experience coordinating supply activities to maintain product availability.
• Experience managing freight, logistics and transport arrangements for domestic and/or international shipments.
• Ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, freight providers, warehouse staff, contractors and management.
• Ability to monitor supply chain performance and prepare operational reports for management.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational priorities.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of operational priorities.
