About the Role

Rigcom is seeking experienced Rope Access Technicians to join our growing ropes team in Sydney. In this role, you will carry out maintenance, installation, and repair tasks using rope access techniques to reach difficult or restricted areas safely and efficiently. This is not a FIFO position and will need you to be based in or around Sydney or Newcastle to perform the duties of the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rope access work on a variety of industrial sites including construction, maintenance, inspections, and more.

• Carry out tasks such as cleaning, painting, welding, inspections, and other technical work at height.

• Conduct safe and efficient access and rescue operations, following strict safety protocols.

• Collaborate with project teams to ensure high-quality standards and timely completion.

• Maintain and inspect rope access equipment to ensure safe operations.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum IRATA Level 2, Level 3 – highly desirable.

• Australian White Card.

• Proven experience performing a range of tasks using rope access techniques.

• Ability to work at height and in various challenging environments.

• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication skills and a team player.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test.
