Your New Role

• Coordinate the end-to-end import sea freight process, including liaising with clients, carriers and overseas agents   
• Fostering strong relationships with clients and service providers 
• Management of telephone & email enquiries 
• Supply clients with import sea freight quotations
• Support to seafreight and cross trade shipments as required
• Working within this established operations team
• Managing sea freight job registrations, handling documentation submissions, and closely coordinating with providers to ensure the smooth arrival of cargo.
• Ensuring relevant certification is recorded updated and edited as necessary using CargoWise.
• Ensure delays are minimised and the cartage team have all relevant information to allow the immediate delivery of Cargo/freight as soon as it has been cleared

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience in Import Sea Freight Operators, logistics or related field
• Positive can-do attitude working in a team 
• Strong attention to detail
• Assertive and proactive approach to tasks 
• Experience using CargoWise One will be highly regarded
• Hard working attitude
• Safety focused with an understanding of chain of responsibility
• Exceptional written and verbal communication.
