About The RoleThe Transport Planning Engineer will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of a comprehensive transport network within the Sutherland Shire. This position involves working within a dynamic multidisciplinary team, focusing on strategic transport planning and providing expert technical advice to guide development assessments and planning proposals.
Your responsibilities will include preparing transport plans, engaging with consultants, conducting intersection and network modelling, and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
Who We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate will possess a strong background in transport planning or traffic engineering, with relevant experience in local government or consultancy roles. You will have a solid understanding of transport policies, legislation, and best practices, along with the ability to provide clear and actionable advice.
