Inventory Controller

About the Role: 
A hands-on, operational role in a fast‑paced warehouse environment, focused on end‑to‑end stock control, inventory accuracy, and problem‑solving. The position runs Monday to Friday and suits someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and investigations.

Key responsibilities

- Full stock control and inventory management for storage customers

- Cycle counts and full stocktakes to maintain inventory accuracy

- Investigating and resolving stock variances

- Stock replenishment and slotting to optimise pick locations

- Managing damaged, short‑dated, and obsolete stock

- Maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting discrepancies

- Supporting continuous improvement in inventory management processes

- Safe operation of warehouse equipment (including forklifts, if licensed)

- Upholding housekeeping, safety, and quality standards at all times

Skills & attributes required

- Strong analytical, mathematical, and counting skills

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Enjoys investigating discrepancies and problem‑solving

- High ownership and accountability for stock integrity

- Clear communication and ability to work with operations and admin teams

- Reliable, professional, safety‑focused, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment

- Sense of humour and positive attitude

Experience & qualifications

- Previous experience in stock control or inventory management

- LO Forklift Licence (highly regarded)

- Valid work visa or Australian work rights required
