We are looking for an experienced and capable Procurement Analyst to join our supply chain team. This is a full-time role based at our Wyong site on the Central Coast of NSW. Reporting into the Supervisor Procurement your responsibilities will include:
Developing and improving processes affecting procurement
Managing all trade compliance activities, ensuring adherence to regulations and company policies.
Reporting processes of procurement activities
Managing RFT/RFP documentation and assisting the evaluation and implementation of tender responses
Continually assessing opportunities to gain better value from procurement arrangements
Identifying and profiling alternative suppliers for the sourcing of products and services
Developing strong and creditable relationships and ready contacts within the Australian business, within the APAC sourcing group, and with key suppliers
Ideally, the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:
Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in a similar/relative role with demonstrable skills and working knowledge in MRP System Operating in an ERP Environment for purchasing activities
Business qualifications – degree or diploma; APICS qualification highly regarded.
Excellent negotiation skills, complex problem solving and decision-making abilities.
Demonstrated working knowledge of contract law and trade compliance requirements.
Ability to communicate and manage supplier OTD and late backlog
Results driven with excellent attention to detail, well-developed organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities and project deadlines.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Proficiency in Excel
Enthusiastic, organised and self-motivated, with good time management.
