About the Company

Our client is a global leader within the healthcare and life sciences industry, known for their innovation, manufacturing excellence and commitment to continuous improvement. Based at their Blacktown manufacturing facility, they are seeking a motivated and technically minded individual to join their team as a Manufacturing Process Technician.

About the Opportunity

This position will support day-to-day manufacturing and process engineering activities across the production environment. Working closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams, you will assist with KPI reporting, process improvement activities, SOP reviews, troubleshooting support and project-based tasks.

Duties

  • Assist with KPI monitoring and production reporting
  • Update production dashboards and Excel-based reports
  • Support process improvement and 5S activities
  • Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis activities
  • Review and update SOPs and work instructions
  • Work alongside manufacturing operators to ensure processes align with documentation
  • Support project activities and process improvement initiatives
  • Participate in daily production meetings and engineering support activities
Skills & Experience
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial or similar) is a must have
  • Strong technical mindset and willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong Excel and reporting capability
  • Comfortable working both independently and within a team environment
  • Exposure to manufacturing, production or process environments would be highly advantageous
  • Proactive attitude with strong problem-solving capability
