About Us

Signtific Signs is a Gold Coast-based signage manufacturer delivering projects for national brands, retail groups, commercial builders and local businesses throughout Australia.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Production Manager / Foreman to lead our production team while remaining actively involved in the manufacture of high-quality signage.

This is a leadership role for someone who understands the signage industry, can manage people and workflow, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of our production department, ensuring projects are manufactured safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

The successful applicant will have strong hands-on experience manufacturing illuminated lettersets, pylon signs and custom fabricated signage, while also possessing the leadership skills required to coordinate staff, production schedules and workshop activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate daily workshop operations

  • Lead and supervise production staff

  • Schedule workloads and allocate resources efficiently

  • Manufacture and fabricate a wide range of signage products

  • Oversee the production of illuminated lettersets, pylon signs and custom signage projects

  • Maintain quality control throughout all stages of production

  • Coordinate materials and production requirements

  • Ensure projects are completed on time and to specification

  • Assist with staff training and development

  • Maintain a safe and productive workshop environment

  • Work closely with project management and installation teams

Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience in the signage industry

  • Proven experience manufacturing illuminated lettersets and pylon signs

  • Strong fabrication and assembly skills

  • Ability to read and interpret production drawings and engineering details

  • Previous experience leading a team, workshop or manufacturing environment

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving ability

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Highly Regarded
  • Spray painting and signage finishing experience

  • Welding and metal fabrication experience

  • Installation experience

  • Forklift licence

  • Experience with large-scale retail, commercial or architectural signage projects
