Task & responsibilities

Operate heavy vehicles to transport goods safely to various destinations
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules in a timely manner
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
Comply with road transport laws, fatigue management, and safety regulations
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members
Identify and report mechanical issues or delays promptly

Qualification & experience

Relevant heavy vehicle driver’s licence (HR/HC/MC preferred)
Minimum 1-3 years of relevant driving experience
Good knowledge of road safety regulations and transport procedures
Ability to operate and maintain heavy vehicles safely
Strong time management and organisational skills
Basic literacy and numeracy for record-keeping and documentation
