Truck Driver – Full Time

Iggy Group Pty Ltd is a Western Australian road freight transport business operating since 15 May 2022. Due to ongoing business requirements and increasing transport and logistics commitments, we are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive heavy vehicles to transport goods and freight safely and efficiently across assigned routes.
• Manoeuvre vehicles into position for loading and unloading at depots, warehouses, customer sites and delivery locations.
• Load and unload vehicles using appropriate lifting, loading and tipping equipment where required.
• Observe safety requirements when loading, unloading, securing and transporting goods.
• Conduct regular vehicle safety checks, including tyres, brakes, lights, fluids and general roadworthiness.
• Estimate load weights to comply with vehicle load limits and ensure safe distribution of weight.
• Ensure goods are properly stowed, restrained and securely covered to prevent loss, movement or damage during transit.
• Verify loading documents, delivery dockets and consignment paperwork.
• Check the condition of goods at collection and delivery points and obtain proof of delivery or certification where required.
• Report vehicle faults, incidents, delays, delivery issues and safety concerns to management promptly.
• Maintain accurate work records, logbooks, delivery records and vehicle documentation as required.
• Comply with road transport laws, fatigue management requirements, WHS procedures and company policies.

Skills and Experience Required

• Valid Australian heavy vehicle driver’s licence, preferably HR, HC or MC licence.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant truck driving or road freight transport experience.
• Good understanding of load restraint, vehicle safety and road transport compliance.
• Ability to complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to safety and care when handling goods.
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
