ETX Logistics Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Services and Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate specialised logistics support services within our growing operations.
Operating within the logistics and container handling industry, ETX Logistics provides container unloading, pallet re-stacking, repacking, warehouse coordination and forklift operation services to commercial clients across Queensland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organising, directing and coordinating operational and customer service activities to ensure efficient service delivery and high client satisfaction standards.
Managing the day-to-day delivery of logistics support and container handling services
Coordinating operational staff and service schedules to ensure efficient workflow and timely service delivery
Maintaining strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact for operational and customer service matters
Monitoring service standards and implementing operational improvements to maximise efficiency and customer satisfaction
Responding to customer enquiries, resolving complaints and managing service-related issues
Liaising with transport operators, warehouse personnel, suppliers and customers regarding operational requirements and scheduling
Supervising staff performance, preparing work rosters and coordinating workflow priorities
Monitoring operational productivity, service quality and compliance with company procedures
Assisting in the development and implementation of operational procedures and customer service standards
Preparing operational reports, service documentation and performance records
Coordinating freight handling activities, inventory movement and related logistics operations
Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety policies and operational procedures
Assisting management with budgeting, resource allocation and business development activities
Supporting ongoing client retention and maintaining professional business relationships
Monitoring equipment and operational resources to ensure services are delivered efficiently and safely
AQF Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Management, Customer Service or a related field is desirable
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Strong customer service, communication and organisational skills
Experience coordinating operational service delivery and managing customer relationships
Experience supervising staff and monitoring operational performance
Ability to resolve operational and customer service issues effectively
Knowledge of workplace health and safety procedures and operational compliance requirements
Ability to coordinate workflow priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
Experience using operational systems, scheduling systems or customer management software
