NEW WEST FOODS (WA) PTY LTD is seeking reliable and safety-focused Truck Drivers to support the delivery and distribution of chilled, frozen, and dry food products across Western Australia. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating refrigerated delivery vehicles, maintaining delivery schedules, ensuring compliance with food safety and transport regulations, and delivering excellent customer service.
This role requires individuals who can work independently, manage delivery timelines effectively, and maintain high safety and operational standards in a fast-paced food distribution environment.

Task & responsibilities
- Deliver chilled, frozen, and dry food products to commercial customers across metropolitan and regional Western Australia.
- Operate refrigerated delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in accordance with road transport regulations.
- Load, transport, and unload products while ensuring safe handling and cold-chain compliance.
- Conduct pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Follow delivery schedules and customer timeframes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Maintain accurate delivery records, manifests, logbooks, and related documentation.
- Monitor vehicle condition and report faults, maintenance issues, or incidents promptly.
- Comply with workplace health and safety procedures, fatigue management requirements, and company policies.
- Communicate professionally with warehouse staff, dispatch personnel, and customers to support efficient operations.
Qualification & experience
- Valid Australian HR or HC Driver Licence is essential.
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in driving , preferably within food distribution or refrigerated transport operations.
- AQF Certificate II or III in Driving Operations or a related qualification is desirable.
- Good understanding of road safety regulations and fatigue management obligations.
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules efficiently.
- Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual handling duties.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Forklift licence and refrigerated transport experience will be highly regarded.
- Ability to comply with workplace safety, medical, and operational compliance requirements where applicable.
