Job Responsibilities / Specifications

  • Management of ARC Logistics’ day-to-day operations and major corporate functions.
  • Develop and implement business expansion strategies and operational plans for Australia and the wider region.
  • Set operational objectives, financial performance targets, budgets, organisational standards and commercial strategies in consultation with the Managing Director.
  • Review monthly sales, business development, operational and financial reports, and ensure corrective actions taken where required.
  • Authorise or recommend budgets, resource allocation, strategic supplier engagement and implementation of business initiatives.
  • Lead and monitor department heads and senior staff, including mentoring, performance management and capability development.
  • Consult with department managers regarding operational methods, resource requirements, finances, sales, human resources and project execution.
  • Represent ARC Logistics in senior-level negotiations with clients, partners, government bodies and project stakeholders.
  • Oversee commercial strategy for renewable energy, infrastructure and project logistics activities, including heavy-lift forwarding and regional business development.
  • Ensure business operations comply with corporate governance standards, client requirements, regulatory obligations, risk-management policies and profitability objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement of systems, reporting, processes and organisational efficiency.
  • Develop and implement organisational policies, business plans and operational procedures aligned with the employer’s strategic objectives.
  • Undertake related senior management duties consistent with the nature of the position.

Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in senior management and executive-level roles within the logistics, freight forwarding, project logistics or infrastructure sectors
  • International business exposure and experience working across multiple jurisdictions or regions is highly regarded
  • Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and operational functions
  • Strong commercial, financial and business-development acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Demonstrated capability to drive operational growth, organisational development and regional business expansion
  • Strong understanding of project logistics, heavy-lift forwarding and complex supply-chain operations
