Hach Pacific Pty Ltd is seeking a highly organised and analytical Logistics Officer/ Supply Chain Analyst / Procurement & Inventory Coordinator to join our growing operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting procurement, inventory management, logistics coordination, and supply chain performance analysis across the business.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Analyse and interpret end-to-end supply chain data including freight cost structures, supplier lead times, SKU performance, stock ageing, and ETA variances to support procurement and replenishment decisions.
• Monitor On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance and lead time adherence for Make-to-Stock (MTS) and Make-to-Order (MTO) inventory items.
• Prepare variance and performance reports and recommend planning adjustments to improve fulfilment outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Maintain and update Power BI dashboards and analytical reporting tools to track inventory turnover, backorder frequency, demand forecast accuracy, dispatch efficiency, and carrier performance.
• Conduct root cause and trend analysis on supply chain issues including stock shortages, service failures, freight cost variances, and slow-moving inventory.
• Coordinate shipment scheduling and replenishment planning with domestic and international suppliers in line with demand forecasts, safety stock levels, and minimum order quantities.
• Perform cycle counts, stock reconciliation activities, and inventory accuracy checks using ERP systems and warehouse audit processes.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies through data validation, warehouse traceability reviews, and ERP audit trail analysis.
• Prepare and validate import and export documentation including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and compliance documentation.
• Track and report shipment delays, transport damages, product expiry concerns, and stock shortages while coordinating corrective actions with Procurement, Warehouse, and Quality teams.
• Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities by consolidating demand forecasts, historical consumption data, and stock analysis for medium-term supply planning.
• Maintain ERP procurement and replenishment records including purchase order processing, delivery receipt updates, and stock level monitoring.
• Assist with workflow improvements, SOP updates, process mapping, and preparation of training materials for operational and system enhancements.
