Truck Driver

Benipal Transport Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Truck Driver to join its expanding transport operations team in Western Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting materials and goods efficiently while ensuring compliance with road safety and transport regulations.

Task & responsibilities

• Operating heavy vehicles safely to transport sand, gravel, earth, and related materials
• Loading, securing, transporting, and unloading freight in accordance with safety procedures
• Conducting pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Monitoring vehicle performance and reporting maintenance or repair requirements
• Maintaining accurate delivery records, logbooks, and transport documentation
• Ensuring compliance with fatigue management, road transport, and workplace safety regulations
• Planning delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely transportation services
• Communicating professionally with customers, site supervisors, and dispatch personnel
• Checking load distribution and ensuring cargo is safely secured for transport
• Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and presentation standards
• Following company operational procedures and safety policies at all times
• Assisting with general transport and operational duties as required

Qualification & experience

• Valid HR, HC, or MC heavy vehicle driver licence
• Certificate II or III in Driving Operations is desirable but not mandatory
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant truck driving experience preferred
• Good understanding of transport compliance, fatigue management, and road safety regulations
• Ability to operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines
• Physically fit and capable of handling loading and unloading duties where required
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety standards
