Truck Driver

The Matharu Logistics Pty Ltd is seeking a dependable and experienced Truck Driver to join its operations based in Dayton, Western Australia. The role involves transporting goods efficiently and safely across Perth and surrounding regions while maintaining compliance with all road and safety regulations.

Task & responsibilities

• Driving heavy vehicles to transport goods to various destinations
• Loading and unloading freight using appropriate equipment and safe handling practices
• Securing loads to ensure safe transit in accordance with regulations
• Conducting pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintaining accurate logbooks, delivery documentation, and records
• Planning routes to ensure timely deliveries and efficient operations
• Complying with fatigue management, mass limits, and road safety laws
• Performing minor vehicle maintenance and ensuring cleanliness
• Communicating effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members

Qualification & experience

• Valid Heavy Vehicle Driver’s Licence (HR/HC/MC preferred)
• Minimum 1–3 years of truck driving experience
• Good understanding of Australian road transport regulations
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• Clean driving record
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
