Task & responsibilities

Driving heavy vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently to designated locations
Loading and unloading freight using appropriate equipment and safe handling techniques
Securing loads to ensure safe transit and compliance with road safety regulations
Conducting pre-start and post-trip vehicle inspections and reporting defects
Maintaining accurate delivery documentation, logbooks, and records
Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules within time constraints
Adhering to fatigue management, mass, and load restraint regulations
Performing basic vehicle maintenance and cleanliness checks
Communicating effectively with dispatch, clients, and team members

Qualification & experience

Valid Heavy Vehicle Driver’s Licence (HR/HC/MC preferred)
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a similar truck driving role
Sound knowledge of road safety regulations and fatigue management
Ability to handle freight safely and efficiently
Good driving record and commitment to safety
Strong communication and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
