The Cabinet Maker is responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and installing custom furniture and cabinetry components in accordance with design specifications and company quality standards. The role ensures precision craftsmanship and the delivery of high-quality finished products that meet client expectations.

Benefits

Salary: 75.000,00 to 85.000,00 per annum plus superannuation.

Task & responsibilities

• Assembling, cutting, and shaping a variety of materials to precise specifications, using nails or adhesive for secure fastening, ensuring each piece meets the highest standards of craftsmanship and durability.
• Examining and interpreting blueprints, job descriptions, and detailed drawings closely.
• Reviewing work orders and sample parts to determine the exact specifications needed for crafting furniture pieces, aligning with client expectations.
• Selecting the finest materials, such as premium timber, veneers, particle board, and synthetic wood, focusing on quality to create superior finished products that embody beauty and longevity.
• Using a combination of hand tools, machinery, and precision power saws for marking, cutting, and shaping wood according to provided specifications, achieving desired shapes and dimensions with expert precision.
• Crafting furniture pieces from drawings and specifications, ensuring they adhere to design requirements and uphold the highest quality standards, demonstrating CCW Cabinet Works' commitment to excellence.
• Assembling components to construct sections and complete articles of furniture, ensuring a perfect fit and seamless integration of all parts for functionality and aesthetic appeal.
• Installing hardware such as hinges, locks, catches, drawers, and shelves with precision, enhancing the functionality and aesthetic value of each furniture piece, fulfilling design and quality expectations.

Qualification & experience

• Qualifications: Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology, or at least 3 years of full-time relevant work experience, which may be accepted in place of the formal qualification.
• Experience: at least 2 years of full-time relevant work experience is required.
