Palrav Pty Ltd is seeking 2 reliable Truck Drivers to join our team in Rocky Point, Weipa, Qld 4874. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods, ensuring timely deliveries, conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate delivery records, and complying with all road safety regulations and company policies. Applicants must hold a valid driver’s licence (MC/HC preferred), have a clean driving record, and demonstrate strong work ethic and communication skills. Task & responsibilities

  • Operate heavy and light trucks safely to transport goods and materials across local, regional, and long-distance routes.
  • Load, unload, and secure cargo, ensuring compliance with safety and transportation regulations.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks, and reporting documentation.
  • Adhere to traffic laws, company policies, and occupational health and safety (OHS) requirements at all times.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
  • Operate trucks of various sizes, including rigid, articulated, and heavy combination vehicles as required.

Qualification & experience

  • Hold a valid Australian Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence (Class HR, HC, or MC depending on the truck type) or equivalent overseas license recognized in Australia.
  • Completion of relevant training in truck driving and road safety is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with load securing, vehicle inspection procedures, and compliance with transport regulations.
  • Demonstrated safe driving record and understanding of road safety and WHS principles.
  • Minimum at least 1 or 2 years experience.
