Task & responsibilities

• Positioning vehicles accurately for safe loading and unloading operations
• Operating lifting and tipping equipment to load and unload goods efficiently
• Adhering to all safety procedures during loading and unloading activities
• Conducting routine vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safe operation
• Calculating load weights to meet legal limits and ensuring proper weight distribution
• Securing and covering goods appropriately to prevent damage or loss in transit
• Checking delivery documentation, inspecting goods condition, and obtaining proof of delivery certification

Qualification & experience

• Medium rigid licence at least
• Minimum 1 year of experience in driving trucks
• Knowledge of road safety regulations
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication skills
