Legal Assistant Role At Family Law Office in North Lakes
This is a full-time, office-based role located in North Lakes as a Legal Assistant at ABA Lawyers. You will play a crucial administrative support role, contributing to the smooth operation of our prestigious law firm. In this position, you will work closely with our Family law team, providing vital assistance to ensure efficient and effective client service delivery.
What you'll be doing
Provide high-quality administrative support to our family law team, including drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client files
Assist with the preparation of legal documents, such as contracts, briefs, and court submissions
Coordinate the flow of information and documentation between the legal team, clients, and other stakeholders
Manage the organisation and maintenance of the firm's physical and electronic filing systems
Provide reception duties, such as greeting clients and answering incoming calls, as required
Contribute to the implementation of efficient office procedures and processes
Collaborate with the wider administrative team to ensure the smooth running of the firm
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or similar administrative role within a professional services environment
Experience in family law is highly desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach
Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise and multitask
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as required
