About the Role
As a Senior Injury Management Advisor, you will report to the Injury Management Specialist and oversee the facilitation of the business’s injury management and pre-employment medical processes. You will manage a diverse portfolio of injuries and illnesses and be responsible for the effective management of workers compensation claims, early intervention cases, as well as non-work-related and fitness-for-work cases.
Responsibilities
Manage workers compensation (WC), early intervention, and non-work-related cases across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with legislation, policies, and procedures.
Monitor and support compliance with IM requirements.
Provide guidance and support to Injury Management Advisors.
Oversee and facilitate management of complex claims, including liaising with insurers and attending quarterly claim reviews.
Develop Return to Work and fitness-for-work plans in line with medical advice and stakeholder consultation.
Coordinate with payroll to ensure accurate processing of WC and IP payments.
Facilitate fitness-for-work assessments and review pre-employment medicals, including oversight of external providers.
Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and manage the injury management database (Solv Injury).
