Perth Containers is looking for the right person to help drive the growth of an exciting new service division within the business. We are seeking someone proactive, organised, commercially minded, and good with people who wants to become a key part of a growing WA company. The role will focus heavily on client service, business development, operations coordination and helping grow recurring work opportunities.

This new division is focused on supporting the continued expansion of Perth Containers’ commercial service capabilities across Western Australia. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping shape and grow this division into a leading industry service offering.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented professional who can combine client relationship management, business development, and operational coordination to help drive the growth of a specialised new division within Perth Containers. The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, highly organised and confident managing both customer relationships and the operational coordination required to deliver high-quality outcomes. This role has strong long-term growth potential for the right person and offers the opportunity to become a key part of the future direction and expansion of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Help support the growth and development of a new division within Perth Containers

  2. Assist in implementing business growth and client engagement strategies

  3. Coordinate enquiries, quotations and project activities from initial contact through to completion

  4. Build and maintain strong client relationships across mining, construction, infrastructure and industrial sectors

  5. Deliver a high level of customer service and maintain regular communication with clients throughout projects and service delivery

  6. Assist with inbound sales enquiries and identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships

  7. Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors and operational requirements where required

  8. Conduct site visits and attend client meetings across Perth and regional WA as required

  9. Prepare proposals, pricing submissions and client documentation

  10. Build awareness of Perth Containers services across relevant WA industries

  11. Attend industry events, expos and networking opportunities representing Perth Containers

  12. Assist with office coordination and day-to-day operational support activities

  13. Support incoming calls, client enquiries and front-of-house interactions professionally

  14. Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates and project tracking information

  15. Support broader business development, sales and operational initiatives where required

Essential Qualities

  1. Highly organised, proactive and detail focused

  2. Confident on the phone and comfortable speaking with clients and decision-makers

  3. Strong relationship-building and customer service skills

  4. Able to manage multiple moving parts at once

  5. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  6. Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability

  7. Positive attitude and willingness to take ownership

  8. Professional communication and presentation skills

  9. Ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to the wider team

Experience Highly Regarded

  • Experience in construction, transport, logistics, mining support, trades or industrial industries

  • Background in business development, client service, internal sales, operations coordination or account management

  • Experience preparing quotations, tenders or pricing submissions

  • Existing relationships within WA mining, infrastructure or industrial sectors

  • CRM and pipeline management experience

  • Technical or operational understanding of industrial service environments
