Chief Technology Officer

A large, values-driven Australian organisation delivering essential services across the disability sector is seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer to lead the next phase of its technology, digital and data journey.

Operating through multiple service brands and supporting thousands of clients, the organisation is entering a period of significant growth, integration and capability uplift. Technology is increasingly recognised as a critical enabler of service quality, workforce productivity, compliance, innovation and long-term sustainability.

The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Group Chief Executive Officer and working closely with the executive leadership team, the Chief Technology Officer will shape and execute a technology strategy that supports organisational performance while enabling future growth.

This role requires a leader who can balance strategic vision with operational excellence.

Key priorities include:

• Developing and executing a multi-year technology and digital transformation roadmap.
• Strengthening cyber security, risk management and technology governance frameworks.
• Modernising systems, applications and infrastructure to improve organisational capability and user experience.
• Leveraging data, analytics and business intelligence to support evidence-based decision making.
• Improving technology service delivery across a geographically dispersed workforce.
• Building a high-performing technology function capable of supporting continued growth and organisational complexity.
• Partnering with operational leaders to identify and deliver technology-enabled improvements to service delivery and productivity.
• Establishing scalable platforms, architecture and processes that support future acquisitions, integration and expansion.

About You
You are a contemporary technology executive who understands that technology exists to enable organisational outcomes.
You bring:

• Demonstrated experience leading technology functions within complex, multi-site organisations.
• A track record of delivering meaningful technology transformation and organisational change.
• Strong cyber security, governance and risk management capability.
• Experience overseeing enterprise applications, infrastructure, cloud environments and data platforms.
• The ability to translate technical concepts into commercial and operational outcomes.
• Experience building engaged, high-performing technology teams and developing future leaders.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the credibility to influence executives, boards and operational leaders.

Experience within health, aged care, disability, community services, education, government or other highly regulated environments will be viewed favourably.
