Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Business Development Executive to support the Key Account Director in driving revenue growth across Wholesale, Inbound, Entertainment, and Sports segments.

This role plays a key part in supporting multi-property sales activity across the EVT Connect Hospitality portfolio, including group bookings, trade partnerships, and key domestic and international accounts.

You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities while supporting the execution of sales strategies, client engagement, and revenue optimisation across multiple hotel brands.

Key responsibilities:
  • Support the Key Account Director in driving revenue growth across Wholesale, Inbound, Entertainment, and Sports segments
  • Assist in converting enquiries into confirmed business through proactive follow-up and strong pipeline management
  • Support pricing, contracting, and revenue initiatives in collaboration with Revenue and Reservations teams
  • Contribute to achieving segment budgets through account activity, campaigns, and tactical offers
  • Maintain accurate CRM (Delphi) records, pipeline updates, and reporting to ensure visibility of performance
  • Support demand generation activity including sales campaigns, trade shows, site inspections, and client events
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales materials to support business conversion
  • Follow up leads and enquiries within required timeframes to support strong conversion outcomes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, agents, and partners across multiple markets
  • Support retention and growth of key accounts across wholesale, inbound, entertainment, and sports segments
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including General Managers, Hotel Managers, Revenue, Reservations, and Operations teams
  • Support multi-property and cluster-based sales activity across the EVT Connect Hospitality portfolio
  • Ensure strong operational discipline including CRM accuracy, timely follow-ups, and contract coordination
  • Support reporting, pipeline tracking, and continuous improvement of sales processes

What We’re Looking For:
  • 1–2 years’ experience in hospitality, sales, customer service, or hotel operations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Strong administrative and coordination capability across multiple stakeholders
  • Experience or familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Delphi, Salesforce, Opera or similar)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across a cluster or multi-property environment
  • Professional, proactive, and commercially minded approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Full working rights in Australia
