Network Engineer – Cisco & Ruckus Deployments

About the Role
Green Light Worldwide is seeking experienced Network Engineers to support a major infrastructure deployment project involving network refresh, wireless upgrades, and migration activities across multiple locations in Western Australia.
The role combines Perth-based staging and testing activities with onsite deployment phases, providing exposure to Cisco networking, Ruckus wireless technologies, network build activities, and large-scale migration projects.
The successful candidate will work closely with project engineers and deployment teams to configure, test, install, and migrate critical network infrastructure.

Responsibilities
• Support Cisco switching and network deployment activities
• Configure, test, and deploy Ruckus wireless infrastructure and access points
• Participate in network build, migration, and cutover activities
• Perform factory assurance testing of network equipment prior to deployment
• Install, connect, and validate switches, servers, and wireless infrastructure onsite
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and deployment issues
• Support wireless migration activities and device installations
• Maintain project documentation and deployment records
• Collaborate with engineering and project delivery teams to achieve project milestones

Requirements
• Experience with Cisco switching and enterprise networking
• Hands-on experience with Ruckus wireless infrastructure and access points
• Strong background in network deployment, configuration, testing, and migration activities
• Experience supporting infrastructure projects within enterprise, industrial, or mining environments
• Ability to travel to regional Western Australia for deployment phases
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork capability

Highly Regarded
• Mining, resources, or remote-site deployment experience
• Experience with wireless migration projects
• Exposure to IPTV deployments and accommodation facility infrastructure

Project Timeline Phase 1 – Perth Staging
• July – August 2026
• Factory assurance testing of Cisco and Ruckus switches
• Perth-based staging and preparation activities

Phase 2 – Site Build
• October 2026
• Build, connect, configure, and test switches, servers, and wireless infrastructure onsite

Phase 3 – Site Migration
• November 2026
• Installation of Ruckus access points and IPTV devices across accommodation facilities
• Wireless and network migration activities
