Sr. Network Engineer

Senior Network Engineer | Sydney (Hybrid) | Contract

We're currently hiring a Senior Network Engineer for an exciting contract opportunity based in Sydney (3 days onsite).

Location: Sydney | Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 network support, ensuring high availability and security compliance
• Manage incident resolution & service requests within SLA timelines
• Design and implement high-availability network solutions
• Execute network changes and improvements, focusing on automation
• Maintain network documentation and CMDB updates
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver optimal network performance

Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in Cisco (routers, switches, Nexus, wireless)
• Hands-on with Palo Alto or enterprise security platforms
• Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, routing
• Experience with SCADA / Industrial Control Systems (highly preferred)
• Exposure to mission-critical environments
• Strong problem-solving, communication & stakeholder engagement skills
