The Opportunity
This is a high-impact role for a motivated Business Development Manager who thrives on creating opportunities, building relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Working closely with leadership and marketing, you’ll take ownership of the full sales lifecycle—from lead generation through to closing deals—while helping shape and execute the broader sales strategy.
You must be excited by technology and believe that it can make a real difference to business operations and efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
Generate and convert new business opportunities across target markets
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Attend networking events, industry functions, and client meetings
Identify market trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning
Sales & Pipeline Management
Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to close
Prepare and present tailored proposals and solutions
Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in CRM
Respond to client enquiries and coordinate internal inputs for quotes
Strategy & Growth
Develop and execute a personal sales plan aligned to business goals
Contribute to scalable sales strategies and continuous improvement
Support marketing initiatives and broader growth activities
What You Bring
Proven experience in a BDM, Sales Executive, or similar role
Strong new business focus with demonstrated ability to generate and close deals
Experience in the IT or technology sector (highly regarded)
A genuine interest in technology and client solutions is a MUST
Confident communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Experience using CRM systems and managing a structured pipeline
Highly organised with strong time management skills
Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle - Motivation to attend client meetings and events
