About the role

As our next Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth by identifying opportunities, developing relationships, and delivering tailored material handling solutions to customers across a broad range of industries.

You will:

  • Drive sales growth by aligning customer needs with Caterpillar Lift Trucks

  • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities within the material handling industry

  • Build on existing networks while proactively developing new lead sources and customer connections

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients while consistently winning new business

  • Deliver results in line with budget and business objectives

  • Represent United as a trusted, professional provider of material handling solutions across diverse industries

What we're looking for

We're looking for a motivated, proactive, and commercially astute professional who knows how to create opportunities and close deals.

You will bring:

  • Previous experience in an external customer facing sales role

  • Strong sales and business development capability, ideally within capital equipment sales

  • A proven track record of generating leads and actively pursuing opportunities

  • A self-driven, results-focused approach with a strong work ethic

  • The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a team environment

  • Strong commercial acumen, communication skills, and computer literacy
