Technical Sales Representative

As a Technical Sales Representative, you’ll be the face of our business, managing and expanding a portfolio of new and existing accounts. You’ll work closely with customers on-site, identifying opportunities, solving problems, and delivering tailored solutions that drive value.

• Conduct regular on-site customer visits in line with the agreed call plan
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to trading margin performance
• Identify and develop growth opportunities through strategic planning
• Maintain optimal pricing levels to maximise profitability
• Monitor product sales performance and identify areas for improvement
• Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and timely delivery
• Respond to customer enquiries and resolve complaints effectively
• Support debtor management activities in collaboration with Accounts Receivable
• Provide product demonstrations and promote new offerings
• Monitor competitor activity and provide insights to management
• Maintain accurate customer records, call plans, and reporting
• Submit weekly call reports and ensure activity targets are met

• Proven experience in sales and account management, ideally in Welding industrial, Metal Fabrication, manufacturing, or construction sectors
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Results-driven with a proactive approach to business development
• Ability to analyse sales data and identify opportunities for growth
• Strong organisational and reporting skills
• Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the territory
