Temporary IT Support

Contract position: 3 months possible extension to 6 months

Immediate Start. Onsite location: Port of Brisbane

Day to day IT across a Microsoft 365 Environment

This is a great opportunity to work an urgent contract position with a well-established medium sized Company in the manufacturing sector producing core construction materials for the home and infrastructure sector. A leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality products, our client has a high profile, is committed to safety, and driving efficiency and competence throughout their manufacturing site and distribution network.

You will be responsible for :

· Providing on-site support on a day-to-day operational basis across the business supporting connectivity ultimately ensuring a stable and reliable IT environment.

· Broad-based support including supporting the onboarding of new employees ie set up of new employees

· Varied troubleshooting including hardware, laptops, mobile devices etc

· Working closely with operational teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth business operations

· Working closely with the company’s external IT service provider

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

· Experience in internal IT support of systems coordination roles in a Microsoft 365 environment (and / or ERP business systems) – ideally 5+ years given the autonomous nature of the position

· Strong communication skills and a customer service focus

· Strong practical problem-solving ability

· Proactive work style.

· Ability to work under pressure, enjoy working hands on in a technical environment

· Experience having worked with an external provider
