Key Responsibilities

Interpret technical drawings and site specifications to plan cable routes and equipment placement

Use precision instruments (ohmmeters, voltmeters, ammeters, transmission testers) to pinpoint and troubleshoot network faults

Securely terminate and anchor wiring assemblies to devices and junctions

Replace, adjust and repair defective components, then verify performance through systematic testing

Install structured cabling for voice, data, pay-TV and radio communications

Perform cable jointing and sheath sealing using lead and thermoplastic techniques

Erect, inspect and maintain both aerial and underground cabling infrastructure, including mobile-antenna systems

Mount and configure telecommunications gear such as telephones, switchboards and data‐transmission units

Qualification:

Relevant Education

Experience:

At least 1-3 years’ hands-on experience and/or relevant vendor certifications may substitute for formal qualifications

Demonstrated ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication skills and client-focused approach
