I am seeking a driven Business Development Manager to lead growth across the WA region, focused on winning new business within the industrial and resources sectors. This role is ideal for a proactive hunter who thrives on building client relationships, identifying opportunities, and contributing to long term organisational growth.

A well-established leader within the industrial services sector, providing specialist solutions across crane, lifting, and equipment hire. With a strong presence in mining and oil & gas, the business is known for its commitment to safety, reliability, and long term partnerships, as well as a clear vision for sustained growth over the next five years.

Description

  • Drive new business development across the WA region, targeting mining, oil & gas, and industrial sectors
  • Identify, pursue, and convert new client opportunities through proactive prospecting
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Conduct site visits, client meetings, and presentations to promote service offerings
  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline to consistently achieve revenue targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of services
  • Stay informed on industry trends and market opportunities
  • Represent the business as a trusted partner within the industrial sector

Profile

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in a Business Development or Sales role within industrial, crane, lifting, or rental industries
  • A strong "hunter" mindset with a track record of winning new business
  • Existing network within mining and/or oil & gas sectors
  • Confidence engaging with clients, asking direct questions, and closing deals
  • Ability to work autonomously while maintaining high levels of activity
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • A growth mindset with a desire to develop alongside a forward-thinking organisation
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Job Offer
