About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, Marketing & Growth, this role will lead partnership-led growth as a key pillar of ENGIE Retail’s strategy. You will identify, structure and deliver high-impact partnerships that drive revenue, customer acquisition and market expansion.

This is a highly strategic and commercial role, requiring strong stakeholder influence, deal execution capability and the ability to deliver complex, multi-party initiatives from concept through to launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the identification, qualification and prioritisation of high-value partnership opportunities, building and continuously developing a strong, commercially viable pipeline (including alliances, affiliates, channel partnerships, joint ventures and acquisitions)
  • Define and execute a partnership and business development strategy aligned to Retail growth priorities
  • Lead end-to-end partnership execution, including structuring, negotiation and delivery of commercial agreements
  • Build and maintain senior internal and external relationships to maximise long-term value and outcomes
  • Track partnership performance, optimise outcomes and manage a multi-million-dollar pipeline
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to deliver complex partnership initiatives and shape future growth opportunities

About You

You are a commercially minded partnerships or business development professional with a proven track record of delivering growth through strategic partnerships.

  • Demonstrated experience in partnerships, business development or corporate strategy, ideally within a B2C or regulated industry (e.g. energy, telco, financial services)
  • Proven ability to originate and build a pipeline of partnership opportunities and convert them into tangible commercial outcomes
  • Strong experience structuring and negotiating complex commercial deals across multi-stakeholder environments
  • Highly developed financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to build business cases and assess ROI
  • Confident influencing and engaging senior stakeholders across multiple functions
  • Adaptable, strategic thinker with the ability to navigate complexity and drive results
