Hotelesque is a boutique short-term rental and property management company based in Bondi, Sydney. We manage a curated portfolio of high-end properties and take genuine pride in delivering an exceptional experience - for our guests, our owners, and our team.

We're growing, and we need a creative, confident marketing coordinator to grow with us. This is a newly created role - a rare opportunity to build our marketing function from the ground up, make it your own, and grow with the business as we scale.

Candidates must possess a minimum of 3+ years of marketing experience to be considered for this position.

Whilst 3+ years is preferred, exceptional candidates with 2+ years of strong marketing experience will be considered.

A certificate or diploma qualification is required for this role.

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.

This isn't a background role. You'll be the face of our brand online, the voice in our agency meetings, and the person behind the camera at our properties - capturing what makes Hotelesque different.

Basic photography and videography skills are sufficient for the content creation requirements of this role.

ROLE STRUCTURE — TWO KEY PILLARS

This role sits across two core areas - and the best candidate will be equally comfortable in both.

1. AGENCY & COMMS LEAD

  • Own the agency relationship end-to-end, acting as the primary point of contact for all marketing activity

  • Lead briefings, set the agenda, and hold the agency accountable to timelines, budgets, and brand standards

  • Review performance reports and translate results into clear, actionable feedback

  • Coordinate approvals, assets, and signoffs across internal stakeholders

  • Be the single source of truth between Hotelesque and our external partners

2. CONTENT & SOCIAL MEDIA

Essential digital marketing experience is required for this content and social media function.

  • Visit and shoot photo and video content across our Bondi and Sydney property portfolio

  • Write compelling captions and copy for Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn - with a strong instinct for tone and audience

  • Build and manage a forward-thinking content calendar, scheduling and publishing across all channels

  • Identify and pursue local collaborations, partnerships, and influencer opportunities to grow our reach

  • Track, analyse, and report on key metrics - knowing what's working and why

ABOUT YOU

You're confident, creative, and naturally switched on when it comes to social media and marketing. You might be a few years into your career or bringing a solid track record - what matters is that you have the drive to own this role and the personality to represent Hotelesque in every meeting, post, and piece of content.

  • 3 plus years' experience in digital marketing, social media, or a related field

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working across all levels of a business

  • An active personal social presence - share your profiles, it tells us more than a CV

  • Confidence on camera and behind one

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager and email marketing platforms

  • Intermediate-level proficiency in Google Analytics and Google Ads is required for campaign analysis and optimisation

  • Basic video and static content editing skills (CapCut, Reels, or similar)

  • A self-starter who can manage their own time and priorities across 2.5 -3 days

  • A genuine love of property, interiors, hospitality, or the lifestyle space

  • Experience managing an agency or external supplier

  • Exposure to paid social, influencer outreach, or PR

  • Understanding what is required for a unique customer experience
