Senior Business Analyst

Role: Senior Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct business and technical feasibility assessments for client projects.

· Define and analyse current and future business processes, operational models, and technology requirements.

· Investigate, collate, and evaluate complex business issues, policies, practices, and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and provide recommendations.

· Facilitate and lead workshops to gather business, functional, and user requirements from stakeholders.

· Prepare and maintain high-level business requirements documentation and project evaluation reports.

· Support business readiness activities, benefits realisation planning, and operational impact assessments.

· Collaborate with development and project delivery teams to ensure successful project initiation and execution.

· Review and validate project deliverables including:

o Functional specifications

o User cases and GUI designs

o Logical and physical data models

o Test plans and test cases

o Process models

· Assist with the preparation of workshop storyboards and screen mock-ups.

· Liaise with stakeholders to resolve project issues, risks, and conflicts.

· Ensure technical and documentation standards are maintained in accordance with client requirements.

Skills & Experience

· Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst within complex project environments.

· Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.

· Demonstrated ability to analyse business processes and develop practical solutions.

· Experience preparing business requirements, functional specifications, process models, and project documentation.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across technical and business teams.

· Experience working in consulting or client-facing project environments will be highly regarded.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

· Relevant industry certifications such as CBAP, Agile BA, Scrum, or PRINCE2 are advantageous.

· Salary: $100K + Super to $150K + Super

· Location: Perth, Western Australia
