L’Occitane Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Applications Support Analyst to support, analyse and improve corporate business applications across our retail, head office and warehouse operations.

The role will support key business systems, including ERP, BI, Retail POS, CRM and related corporate applications. The successful candidate will work closely with local business stakeholders and regional/global IT teams to analyse business requirements, support system implementation and upgrades, conduct application testing, assist with data management and integration activities, and ensure business applications operate effectively in line with company requirements and global IT standards.


Benefits

Salary: $77,000 to 87,000 per annum plus superannuation


Task & responsibilities

  • conducting functional analysis of business requirements and translating them into technical system specifications
  • supporting corporate application projects, system implementations and new systems rollouts in collaboration with regional IT teams; 
  • providing application support for ERP, BI, Retail POS, CRM and other corporate business applications;
  • performing data extraction, validation, troubleshooting, maintenance, migration and integration activities using Microsoft SQL; 
  • conducting application testing, system setup, user training and system upgrade activities; 
  • monitoring application performance and resolving user-reported issues in collaboration with business users and regional/global IT teams; 
  • proposing temporary workarounds and longer-term system improvements for application issues, deficiencies or business process gaps; 
  • documenting procedures, user manuals, test cases, troubleshooting guides and resolution records; 
  • maintaining timely communication with business teams, local management and regional IT teams; and 
  • contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and compliance with global IT standards, policies and business application procedures. 

Qualification & experience

  • a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related field; 
  • at least 2 years of relevant experience in business application support, systems analysis or a similar role; 
  • hands-on experience supporting ERP, BI, Retail POS and/or CRM systems; 
  • strong Microsoft SQL skills for data extraction, verification, troubleshooting and reporting; 
  • experience with data management, migration, integration and application testing; 
  • ability to analyse business requirements and prepare functional and technical specifications; 
  • strong understanding of business processes and application support in a corporate environment; 
  • good communication skills and the ability to work with business stakeholders, management and IT teams; 
  • strong analytical, problem-solving and documentation skills; and 
  • a proactive, flexible and accountable approach to work. 

Experience with Microsoft Navision, SAP, Retail POS platforms, Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS and CRM systems will be highly regarded.
