This is a fantastic opportunity for a BDM/sales professional who is ready to take ownership of an already profitable territory, grow it and build a small team around them, with a lucrative commission structure.
I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established Australian industrial lighting business with a strong national footprint, established WA relationships, and genuine competitive advantages in the market. They are already on preferred supplier lists with major mining operators and leading electrical wholesalers, with a strong existing pipeline in WA ready to be grown.
The business is already winning and executing significant projects which will continue to come through, but there is real opportunity in the fast-turnaround, high-volume upgrade work across mining and industrial sites — identifying opportunities on site, recommending solutions, and pulling the work through established wholesaler networks.
We're looking for someone to proactively chase the wholesale/site based sales opportunities but will also take ownership of the larger projects as they come in. the entire state is already profitable, ready for the right person to take it on and own it, and grow it.
The business has built a strong reputation in industrial lighting and is known for being able to customise and deliver solutions quickly where competitors often cannot. They carry strong stock holdings nationally, have regular incoming shipments, and are backed by an internal lighting design and technical support team.
We are specifically looking for someone who:
Is a genuine new business hunter
Enjoys being client-facing and on the road
Is happy to travel to regional WA mining territories
Has experience selling into mine sites, electrical contractors and/or wholesalers
Is commercially driven and motivated by commission
Can build pipeline and create opportunities proactively
Ideally understands industrial/electrical lighting, although broader electrical sales backgrounds will also be considered
Electrical trade background highly advantageous
This could suit someone currently selling:
Electrical products
Electrical Wholesale
Industrial solutions
Lighting
Cable/conduit/accessories
Technical electrical based products into mining/industrial channels
It could also suit a commercially minded electrician who has moved into sales and understands the mining/electrical environment.
What’s on offer:
Strong base salary (negotiable) + super + car allowance (22k) /tools of trade
Genuinely lucrative uncapped commission structure OTE upwards of 200k
Monthly commission payments
Existing WA pipeline already in place
